New sustainable fuel is registered, and all documentation, including producer, batch and verification is submitted.
All data is reviewed and locked before serialization, ensuring that all information connected with this serialized batch is verified and meets relevant reporting requirements.

When ownership of the fuel is transferred to another user, they receive access to data for their portion of the fuel, but without access to sensitive or confidential upstream information.

Batches can be subdivided down to the gram of fuel when transferred and assigned another user via a mass-balance tracking.
This ensures that only one owner can ever claim a specific quantity of fuel, and sustainability characteristics are accurately shown for various owners.

When ready to claim, the fuel is "retired," meaning the fuel can no longer be transferred to another user, and you gain access to necessary data to support voluntary and regulatory reporting. Separately designate Scope 1 and Scope 3 retirees for enhanced reporting.
